Jill, a photographer from New York, goes to Scotland on a work-related trip. Instead of taking pictures, she ends up in an alternate reality and meets Dare, a considerably captivating shape-shifter. As she falls in love with him, he intends to use her as a trade for his sister in a slave auction despite his growing attraction for Jill.
In Purr-fect Seduction, a background history is given to explain the shape-shifters’ existence. I found this worded in a perplexing way. How Jill ends up in the alternate reality is foggy, with few details. I feel this could be explained with more clarity and added detail. The lovemaking scenes, both conventional and non-conventional, are very well-written. Despite lack of detail in some areas, the idea behind the story is great. In conlusion, Purr-fect Seduction has great possibilities to be extended into a longer book.

When it comes to sensual, futuristic menage romances, Mechele Armstrong’s Settler’s Mine series is one of the best, hands down. The characters are unique and strong with a depth that inspires the reader to learn more about them and their lives. As the books progress, new twists and turns pump up the drama and energy making this truly a must read series of books.
In the fifth book of the Settler’s Mine series we meet three characters who virtually leap from the pages. The story is captivating and intense with enough passion and sensuality thrown in to make this book scorching. With each page you see more depth in these characters and hidden insights that leave you wanting to know more. Pain, heartbreak and a chance at a fresh start make this one book you won’t want to miss.
Colton is returning to Settler’s Mine in order to claim the mate he left behind years before. With him is their third mate, a man who makes him happy even as he dreads the confrontation he is about to face. Secrets in his past kept him away from Michipi but now he is back to claim the woman he loves. Larkin doesn’t know why Colton left Michipi behind but he is not going to lose the man he has come to love. Dealing with the struggles of a hurt that hasn’t gone away and a past that has come back to haunt him, Colton will have to do whatever it takes to be with the two people he can’t live without.
Mechele Armstrong is a very gifted author. Whether writing a futuristic menage, a contemporary menage or a sizzling paranormal, Ms. Armstrong always delivers a masterpiece. With a talent that sparkles, Mechele Armstrong weaves tales that make you shiver and sweat while still drawing you in to the lives of the characters. This fifth book in the Settler’s Mine series is excellent and I can not wait for more of this wonderful series.

As a Warrior, Hawk is used to fighting evil, protecting innocents and obtaining magical aid from Wardens when requested. But the beautiful and young Warden in front of him, Lyssa, refuses to help. Lyssa is attracted to the injured, battle-hardened, Brad Pitt look-alike, but as a Null, she has no powers and can’t help him. To make matters worse, someone is looking to make this null a void! How will an injured Warrior and a powerless Warden stop the bad guys from killing Lyssa?
I love the weary and wise-cracking warrior and the wide-eyed and sassy warden. The two stumble into each other, not realizing that the other can help fill the empty holes in their lives. Although I was bothered by an inconsistency in the story, it was not enough to prevent me from enjoying the interaction between Hawk and Lyssa. The world in Hawk’s Warden is an interesting place and I would love to visit it again.

Corporate attorney Drew Caruth finally has an “in” with Sydni Cannes, the sexy VP he’s been panting over for some time. Granted, officially meeting someone during their arraignment is probably not ideal, but at least now she knows his name. Now, if he can just get Sydni to agree to go out with him. It’s a challenge, but he’s up for it!
Sydni can’t believe the hottie she has spied in her office building is the same hottie springing her from jail! Wanting just to get the day-from-hell over with, even she is surprised when he hits on her once the charges are dropped and Sydni is free to go home. When her younger sister, Charli, reveals that Drew is friend of hers, Sydni is willing to give him a shot, but Drew wants more. Is she up for it?
Caramel Kisses is a sweet romance, with some intrigue and a bit of dominance mixed in. Sydni and Drew are now one of my favorite couples – they laugh, they love, they fight and they love again. They are hard to resist. Syndi is a woman filled with confidence in her abilities pertaining to her job and her family, but her confidence with men? Hmm, not so much. But that doesn’t deter the sexy, adorable alpha (and yes, Caramel Kisses is proof-positive that a man can be adorable and alpha). Drew has been attracted to Sydni for some time and is both willing and able to take advantage of every opportunity to be near Sydni and become an important part of her life. And those opportunities still have me cooling myself down with a fan – yum mee!
Charli provides Sydni with much comic-relief and a much-needed sounding board as Sydni contemplates both a relationship with a man outside of her race and who’s also eight years younger. I think for all of her hard work Charli deserves her own man (hint, hint Ms. Michaels).
With Valentine’s right around the corner, Caramel Kisses will satisfy both your sweet tooth and your sexy dreams.

Brier’s Bargain is 100%, certifiably a must own, must read novel. The love in this story is so intense and amazingly beautiful that it will bring tears to the eyes. These characters will draw you in and not let go even after the story is done. With passion and honesty, this story flows from the pages like tears. This is a five star masterpiece that you will want to read over and over again, as long as you remember the tissues.
Brier is ready to be the man he always wanted to be. After growing up in a mental institution, he has found a home and love with his brothers and the men of the Three Partners Protection Agency. Jackie is a bodyguard with the agency and he is as much in love with Brier as Brier is with him. When Jackie is hurt on assignment, Brier makes a promise to God in exchange for his lover’s life. In order to keep the promise, Brier has to testify against the man who abused him while in the institution. Jackie can’t change Brier’s mind so instead he will do everything in his power to protect Brier and keep him safe.
Brier’s Bargain is a truly beautiful work of art. Carol Lynne has captured the essence of love in this moving romance. With a cast of characters you will always want to know more about, Brier’s Bargain delivers the passion, sensuality and romance that makes a must read novel. As the first book in a new series, this is truly an impressive opening salvo and I can not wait to keep reading.

Arm Candy is the fourteenth book in the fabulous Cattle Valley series and it is just as brilliant as the first thirteen. The characters are engaging with pasts that make them wary of relationships. There is a seductiveness to this story that will draw you in and make you want to find out more about both Mario and Asa. These characters are truly a combustible combination and the fireworks they set off are so much fun to read about. This really is one of those sensual feasts for the senses and after reading it you will need that cold glass of water and a tissue.
After tragedy struck and Asa was left hurt and alone, he realized who his true friends were. Tired of settling for pretty men who only want him for his money, Asa is wary of letting anyone close. Mario has already been one rich man’s plaything and he refuses to do it again. As the two men work together to get Asa back in walking condition, their strong wills and feelings for each other will bring them together to find that money has nothing to do with love.
There are just not enough words to describe just how talented Carol Lynne is. Her characters and stories never get old and their romances never fail to captivate and inspire. With each book and each series, Carol continually brings a depth of feeling to her stories that make her a must own author. No matter what the topic of genre, I can not wait to read what she has coming out next.

Forward Pass is a truly emotional read. The characters are both damaged in their own way and are able to find a way to move on from what haunts them. This story is very sensual and seductive while still having an amazingly beautiful romance. There are disappointments and bad judgment calls on the part of the characters but that combined with the heartfelt tone of this book make it all the more endearing. This is the type of book you won’t want to pass on.
Keith Connors is an all star quarterback, just getting over the death of his wife and trying to raise his baby son. He knows he needs help and when he hires Tina Black to be his sons nanny, he knows he has made the correct choice. Tina is a gentle woman who has had to deal with the trauma of being attacked by her own stepfather. As the two get to know each other and heal from their personal tragedies, friendship and eventually love begin to grow and transform these two damaged individuals.
Ann Jacobs has crafted a must read romance that will leave a reader breathless. The characters are truly captivating with back-stories that make you want to see them truly happy. With a story that flowed from beginning to end, Forward Pass is a must own novel. The addition of the football storyline just makes this all the more fun to break out on a cold day. Forward Pass is definitely a romantic treasure.

Hey, all! Thanks to Sensual for having me over to blog today! Well, it’s no doubt that sex sells…and especially in the erotic romance industry!
You see all kinds of hot books out lately. M/M, cowboys, ménage, foursomes, tensomes, bdsm, vanilla erotic…all of the above? The variety of erotic romances to read is across the page.
This week my newest release Four Play just came out from Samhain! It’s one woman who has to choose between three men…until she realizes maybe she doesn’t have to choose at all! There was something so fun and delicious about writing three different men, and wondering who I’d choose if I was in the heroine’s place.
So I certainly have my favorites, to both read and write. But I want to know what yours is? What type of plot do you tend to gravitate toward to when you’re picking up an erotic/spicy romance to read?
Leave a comment and I’ll draw a name for one person to win a copy of Four Play!

As a partner at a Virginia-based law firm that has paranormal clients, Eve Templin is an ice-queen in the courtroom and a sex kitten in the bedroom (and janitor closet) with one of her clients, Alonso D’Agostino. Alonso, the thirty-four year old dominant, with his lush, midnight black curls and gray-pewter eyes, is an incubus. But he may have finally met his match in the human who personifies temptation with her “lush curves wrapped in smooth skin dark as chocolate.” But who will yield when Eve wants to keep things strictly in the bedroom and Alonso wants more?
This short story is packing (I’m still a little warm as I write this). Eve and Alonso are a couple who enjoy and respect each other, biblically and otherwise. But while I enjoyed Nocturnal Cravings 1: Temptations Eve, I felt a little cheated. I guess I was expecting a HEA and received a HEN. The story had several strings which led nowhere and it would be great to see this lovely story expanded (maybe in Nocturnal Cravings 2).

Parker Stevens’s personal assistant Melanie Rainer is about to move on to a new career path. Parker has long wished he could act on his desire to be close to her, but has never crossed the line while she worked with him. Now that the opportunity has come up, Parker won’t sit idly by and lose his chance to explore every opportunity to spend time with Melanie in a more intimate setting.
Getting Hers grabs the reader’s attention from the first page with the descriptive narration to the sizzling chemistry that comes to life through the pages. Ava Rose Johnson has written a dynamic tale of an office attraction that gets its chance to come to life. I enjoyed this refreshing story and look forward to reading more of Ava Rose Johnson’s books.

Kyle Ventura almost hits Lily Astor as she is crossing the street. Her fiber art is scattered around as Kyle tries to apologize for the near miss, realizing she is his appointment for an upcoming exhibit. Finding himself drawn to the feistiness he sees in Lily, he asks her out on a date hoping she will give him the chance to get to know her better.
Lily has had her share of romance, but has always shrugged off relationships after an incident left her reluctant to trust anyone six years ago. An accusation against her left her embarrassed and heartbroken, Kyle realizes that he shares some responsibility in this dark shadow of her life. Will they be able to put the past behind them, once he reveals the truth?
Kyle’s Redemption is a delightful read with engaging characters that are easy to relate to. The romance between Kyle and Lily is written with such detail you feel yourself being wooed. Ari Thatcher’s descriptive tale is captivating from the first page to the last. I will definitely pick up Ari Thatcher’s other works.
