Ghosts of Alcatraz is another brilliant work from Carol Lynne. While this story is definitely different from her normal work, it is still just as sultry and powerful. The characters pop from the pages with an energy that will captivate any reader. The story itself is fascinating and utterly engaging. With a flair that is hard to recreate, Ms. Lynne has written a must read novel that will leave the reader on the edge of their seats.
Prison inmates are dying in gruesome and rather mysterious ways. Prison warden Jensen Black has no choice but to call in parapsychologist Brian Phipps to get to the bottom of the unusual deaths. While the two men fight to get to find out what is killing the inmates, their attraction to each other surprises Jensen. He never expected to fall for this gentle, strong man but he can’t pass up what his heart wants. When the “ghosts of Alcatraz” turn their attentions to Brian, they both wonder if they will have any chance at getting off Alcatraz to explore the relationship that has sparked between them.
Carol Lynne is a literary genius. Her stories are always sensual and captivating. Ghosts of Alcatraz is no exception. The characters are engaging, while the heat leaves any reader breathless. This is a must buy author with a talent that is always five star quality. There is no doubt that whatever Ms. Lynne puts before us will please and satisfy even the toughest critic. I am eagerly anticipating more stories and adventures from this overly gifted author.
