Payton Whittier is hanging out with friends when in walks Jeff “Cowboy” Diver. Jeff had been part of an embarrassing adolescent moment that caused months of anguish until Payton had made the decision to leave town. Years later she still has not gotten over the hurt she had endured at his hands.
Jeff is blown away by little Payton who has grown all up, as kids they had been best of friends until that one fateful evening when Jeff had turned his back on her. Jeff is worried that he will follow in his father’s footsteps when it comes to women and Payton deserves to be with someone who can give her the world.
Kissing Cowboy is a hilariously funny quick paced book. I was laughing out loud while reading JC Wilder’s tale of Jeff and Payton whose own insecurities stand in their paths. Wonderful read and sure to warm your hearts on a cold winter day.
It Came Upon a Midnight Clear is a very hot, holiday treat. The characters are very engaging and the drama, pain and tempting sensuality are all very much a treat in this novella. With two hot men and one lady in need of some TLC and rescuing, It Came Upon a Midnight Clear will definitely hit the spot. Sometimes going home again is the way to go.
Abby Dalton is heading back to her old hometown after a nasty divorce left her feeling broken and emotionally drained. Having left years ago to escape from vicious rumors about her and Teagan and Talon Warner. While nothing ever happened between the three, Abby’s fantasies were excellent fodder for the gossip mill. Hoping for a place to lick her wounds, Abby finds that Teagan and Talon want to know if the rumors are true and they plan to find out now that Abby is back in their lives.
While It Came Upon a Midnight Clear is well written and filled with romance and passion, there are times when it seems a little rushed when it comes to the developing relationship. Sensuality and sizzling hot sex, definitely make up for the very fast storyline, though. Michelle Cary will leave you hot and steamy with just enough naughty thrown in to make this a great holiday novella.
As You Are is an amazingly funny, sensually gifted, downright amazing read. From the very first sentence, Ethan Day’s characters drag you in. Julian is so utterly charming and amazingly witty that it feels like someone you would want to get to know in real life. While the humor is enough to make this a great read, it is the amazing connection between the characters and the passion that truly makes this a must own novel.
Julian wants his roommate Danny in the worse way. No matter what he does though in his quest to get his gorgeous roomie, it never works and Julian has decided to get over him and start dating again. When he meets Andy he thinks that maybe he has found the right man to help him get past his infatuation. Too bad it seems like maybe Danny has finally figured out that he wants Julian as well.
With mis-communication and a lot of missteps, As You Are is filled with the kind of drama we love in a good romance. It is the humor and one liners though, that will keep you coming back for more. You won’t want to miss the “Lifetime Channel” dinner moment or the priceless football scene in this one of a kind novel by a one of a kind author. With wonderful panache and an amazing ability to leave the reader falling out of their chair laughing, Ethan Day has crafted a marvelous, must have love story.

Part two of the Crimson Carousel series, A Taste of Midnight quickly entrances the reader with the captivating story. A worthy sequel to Taste of Twilight, picks up with familiar characters and leaves the reader hoping for more. I can’t wait to see what is next in the Crimson Carousel series.

P.A. Brown masterfully weaves a story of deception and intrigue. The plot was realistic with many layers, keeping us biting our nails until the very end. David had a lot to deal with as the novel progressed, from his partner on the job to partner off the job to the absolute evil he was encountering in the investigation. Chris was an excellent foil to the evil in the story and the two had a lot to work out. P.A. Brown’s stories just keep getting better and better. She has another tale coming in this series in March and I know many of us will be anxiously awaiting its arrival.

Double Your Pleasure is a page turner with fiery dialogue and sexual tension that seers off the pages. An enjoyable read that I sat down and read in one sitting. A great diversion for a few hours.
Aedan is a warrior prince of past Ireland, he and his brother are cursed to turn into cats forever if they touch a woman. Cardea is a vampire in human form. From the moment they meet, the attraction grows between them. Despite this, Aedan has a destiny to fulfill as the future warrior king of the tribes of Ireland.
This was a remarkable book to read. It has all the earmarks of an enduring romance: suspense, danger, misunderstandings, true love and great sex. At the same time, it also has the elements of a wonderful fantasy story. The author’s detailed descriptions in the book brings you into the land she’s created, a fascinating escape from the day to day drudgery of our lives. The only downside to this extraordinary story was that at times it crawled slowly along. All in all, I’m looking forward to the next book of this wonderful trilogy.
Circe’s Recruits is a sexy series with an amazing paranormal twist to it. The characters never fail to entertain, entice and seduce the readers. In the fourth Circe’s Recruits book, Hale, we again have three amazing individuals brought together with passion and intensity. This is a must read novel that will leave you wanting more. Hotter than a heat wave in the desert, Hale will leave you breathless and panting for more.
Hale is the last of his group without a mate to keep him grounded. When his dreams start showing him a woman and man that he has not met yet, he is certain that he is losing it. When the three finally come together, the sparks truly begin to fly. With evil men still after them and a missing past that haunts one man, Hale will have to do everything he can for the two people who are fast becoming the most important individuals in his life.
Marie Harte has crafted a unique world that is dark and deadly but passionate and intense as well. The characters are not your average heroes and heroines. These are individuals with so much fire and grit, that it makes you want to learn more. Long after the book finishes, these are characters that will stick with you, perhaps making one look over their shoulder. Hale is definitely a must own novel with enough kick to keep you coming back for more.
And Call Me in the Morning by Willa Okati is a must read erotic romance. The characters are passionate and sensual with a compassion that draws any reader in. The heat generated by Eli and Zane is enough to melt the snow on a cold winter’s day. Their romance never feels rushed or forced, and the many interactions between them and their friends make you want to know who these men are. There is no doubt that these characters will stay with you long after you have finished reading.
Eli and Zane are best friends and colleagues. While the two may seem like complete opposites, they compliment each other so well that many people think they are a couple. Which they are not, but that doesn’t mean they won’t kiss each other to make a point. Too bad one kiss isn’t enough and soon they both have to face the fact that maybe everyone else saw something they didn’t. Dealing with new feelings and uncharted territory, brings drama that neither really planned on. Sometimes finding love is the hardest thing to do and sometimes it is keeping that love that is even harder.
Willa Okati is one of those authors that as soon as you pick up the book, you know it is going to be a keeper. The characters tend to leap from the pages in ways you never expect, making you want to know more. Even when the story ends, you just want to keep going and find out so much more. And Call Me in the Morning is another work of art that comes highly recommended. This is definitely a five star novel by an amazing author.

Quid Pro Quo is a beautifully written story of two people who were hurt in the past and unable to let it go. I was moved throughout the story, and felt the characters were compelling and the feelings were honest which Lillith Payne brought to life. I will definitely be adding Lillith Payne’s future works to my must read list.

The mystery involved with the Jane Doe takes the story into a different direction, the reader should be very pleased with. I was entertained from the first page and to the last.
